Sorry for the news report for the month of July, it's a bit lite and late. Baby Diana has been taking up some of my time. hehe

Family Reunion

Family Reunion was held at the Uprights this year. At the time of this posting, I did not have a full list of attendees. However, I and wife Melanie were not able to attend. I understand everyone had a safe trip there and back to their homes and a good time was had by all.

Aimee returns Home

Aimee Kompel (Jay's wife's sister) has returned home from England for a short stay before heading back to continue studies to be a Vet. She'll return at the end of Aug. for her final year of studies.

Rob's therapy is complete

Time for Rob to head back to work. The surgery and therapy have been completed successfully and Rob feels little to no pain. Although he looks forward to returnning to work, he'll baby his legs for awhile.

Alaina is growing leaps and bounds

As you can see, the little girl is growing up quickly. Maybe she'll be an Olympic Swimmer? (See pciture of Allie and mom in the pool from the reunion.)

Fishing Season Continued

Not much more to report then last month. The fishing has been great if you're looking for bait fish, hehe. Good news was shared recently, Dunn Lake is now open to the public, even if it's a privately owned lake. I guess the guy figured he can't keep people off of it, so might as well protect himself from a lawsuit and opened it up with posted signs stating that "you enter the lake at your own risk".

July is also the first month to purchase this season's hunting licenses. Skip and I managed to get our licenses via the net. Doe tag applications are prepared and ready for mailing in Aug.

Rods and reels are being put away and camo gear is being dusted off. :)
